Northwest Girls Win Central Conference Soccer Championship - Boys Finish 3rd
(Columbus, NE) - The Northwest girl's soccer team claimed the Central Conference tournament championship on Saturday at Wilderness Park in Columbus. The Vikings would get a 6-0 shutout over York in the semi-final match. Later in the day, Northwest would blitz Seward 10-0 in the championship match. The Vikings are now 9-3 on the season and will be back in action on Tuesday, April 16th traveling to Schuyler.

The Northwest boys would go 1-1 on the day finishing in 3rd place. Northwest would fall to Schuyler in the semi-finals 4-1. The Vikings would then take on Crete in the 3rd place match defeating the Cardinals by a final score of 1-0 as the match would be decided in penalty kicks. Northwest is now 6-5 and will also travel to Schuyler on Tuesday, April 16th to take on the Warriors.
